The institute Technology-Theology-Natural Sciences (TTN) was founded in 1992 with the goal to promote the public discussion on ethical questions in natural sciences and technology. Besides public conferences and seminars TTN works on different projects as there are interdisciplinary study groups or dissertation and habilitation projects. Furthermore TTN offers studies on ethical problems to clients from industrie, politics or other public institutions ("Projekt Ethik für die Praxis", PEP). TTN is financed by its members association as well as the bavarian Protestant Church, who is a founding member, industry and governmental funding.
