Starting from April 2006, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is funding the Junior Research Group “Justice in modern medicine: claims to medical treatment and cost considerations as problems of just allocation of public resources in health care”. The group is located at the Institute for Medical Ethics and History of Medicine, Ruhr-University Bochum (Project Director: Prof. Dr. Dr. Vollmann; Head of the Group: Dr. Rauprich).
The project was awarded in the BMBF programme for “Promotion of junior research groups on the field of ethical, legal, and social aspects of modern life sciences”.
