Short Description:

Since June 2000 the German Ministry of Science and Education supports the creation of a common national database on ethics in biotechnology and medicine. For that purpose, the Information and Documentation Centre Ethics in Medicine (IDEM) produces the databases ETHMED and EUROETHICS which can be searched via a common internet portal provided by the National Reference Centre in Bonn.
